It rained so hard this weekend and I went for a long walk in it. Most years I seize every rain I can for long walks. This year that would have been ridiculous, it’s rained so much. There was about a month this summer where we probably didn’t go more than 36 hours sans-precipitation.

I professed to be a little bored with the rain when other people complained. And I suppose I did miss the dry hot days that the prairie is so famous for, but, really, I felt like someone arranged this summer’s weather just for me.
