Tonight we had the most amazing grilled cheese sandwiches for supper. We used the pugliese bread from Christie’s on Broadway and grilled it with a blend of lemon stilton and emmenthal swiss.
The pugliese is made with potato, and that makes it so dense and moist that between the grilled surfaces, the bread pretty much melted right into the cheese.
I have so much more to say, but I’m still stupid-fatigued. I think, instead, I will now proceed in passing out on the couch.
